Hey Laura!

One pink street. One bubble tea. One song that would not leave me alone.

Hey Laura!
Hey Laura! Hey Laura! Hey Laura!

Yes, I made the song. No, I did not hire myself a different art director.

Me, drinking pink through a straw in After Effects.

Challenge

I wrote Hey Laura. I recorded it. Then the video had to be the same piece, not a lyric slide deck on top of a finished track.

Approach

Lyrics, music, then the pink world: the walk, the car, the coat. When the lyric says I do not live like the tranza, the guy in the hat and gabardine opens up and shows the watches. Type in the frame. Motion as art direction. Los Astrólogos feat. LeGus. Same hands on both sides of the record.

Outcome

A lyric video that is the release. YouTube and Spotify, not a poster for somebody else's track.
